Janice, what is the history or where did you get this plant? I think, as Todd mentioned, there could be stonei in the makeup because of the light colored dorsal sepal of yours. Here is a stonei to show whitish dorsal sepal.

Kathy, look at plant 22 and 24. I think the spots would be influenced by stamfordianum.
