Let's hope that was a "once in a lifetime" weather event.

Still no signs of life on the Esperanzas, red Turk's Cap is coming back but the pink ones are gone. Also no bluebonnets in the front pasture. Don't know if they're just late or if the combination of drought/freeze is keeping them dormant. I'm still hopeful.

Anyone have Pride of Barbados? Curious about how they did during the cold.

Now we're dealing with oak tags, pollen, and 'flying worms'. But soon the weather will stabilize (although the forecast is 90 degrees for the next three days). By mid-April all the mess will be cleaned up and everything will be pretty again. But it sure seems like it was a short spring! Reminds me of the old joke: "Spring is really nice in south central Texas, unless you're out of town that day and miss it".
