I was wondering if I'd get asked about that! The Armenian food in question is Manti. Googling brought up things unlike the traditional recipe we know. It is found in the Treasured Armenian recipes cookbook. The 1 inch, canoe shaped dumplings (filled with ground lamb, garlic, fresh parsley and onion) are baked in butter till crisp, then put in chicken broth and served with Madzoon(plain yogurt) on it.
