Thanks Twitcher. I actually did that and was offered a plant that looked more like what I expected it to look like. They were very good about it.

These vendors aren't aware that we, here at ATP, have Lynn's fabulous Sempervivum database, which shows the photos of varieties throughout the year.
I have had some say, "Well, it will change its' appearance."
But now we can look on the database for how the plant looks in various months.
