Is there a reason why you don't put the trees and palms in the ground? It seems like they would be hardy there. I've seen my potted C. elegans breeze through light frost with no problems, but do you have frost at all?

It isn't my property and the homeowners have denied my request to stick them in the ground. Shrug! I'll wear them down eventually on something.

We used to have mild frost in the winters, but not for 10 years or more.
I have found that coffee, tea, and rose can all agree on one thing... water everyday.
