I purchased Rebecca in the spring of 2011 from Bluestone Perennials. This plant once it gets going, it just took off. It bloomed at the end of summer but well worth the wait. This year 2012, it has rebounded with several vines. Our spring here has been very unsettled but this clematis keeps on growing. It truly is red. Not purple tinted but red.
