Rose of Sharon is my number one shrub. Over the past year, we have had drought, floods and heavy winds, but my Rose of Sharon keeps keeping on. Last year it was one of the few shrubs to actually flower. I've been able to grow it quite easily from seed but I'm now trying to get the double one to grow. Last time I tried the seeds, they grew but ended up single flowers. This time it's from cuttings. I'm more hopeful.
