I'm trying to do cottage garden in front of house under pecan tree. Not sure what plants will work; three of the dwarf azaleas that were there died since we moved in 5 years ago. I believed they were original plantings. There are foxtail and asparagus ferns on one side.

I've added coneflowers, white 4' o'clock, toad lilies, shrimp plant, salvia, spiderworts just to name a few. Red poppy and larkspur seeds were tossed in and they've come back every year. Added Texas bluebonnets too. Still looking for other plants and seeds that will work.

Wow sounds like you should have a garden full of color
Looking forward to some pictures. Thumbs up
