Another Instant Pot discovery!

It's been a long time since I made oatmeal, but had a hankering for it and found a great way to make it in the instant pot! 1 part steel cut oats, 1 part water or milk, in a steel bowl or mason jar (pot in pot method) on top of a trivet, with a cup of water in the bottom of the IP. 20 minutes at high pressure, then 10 minutes cool-down before releasing any remaining pressure. I like to add diced apples, or applesauce, cinnamon, raisins, etc.

I've tried IP for oatmeal before, but directly in the big pot, and never got it quite "right."
We're all learners, doers, teachers.
