Susan, regarding the Den aggregatum - I bought it somewhere around 2003 or 2004 ( from Andy's Orchids) I am glad you like it! Smiling
I posted the plant in the beginning of April when I just noticed it spiking, so you can see what it looks like without spikes. (I had then pulled it out to measure it for Laurel).

You are supposed to not water at all for about 6 weeks starting Thanksgiving and then soak the plant really well and start watering to get it to bloom. This never works for me, my greenhouse is very sunny ( the plant was hanging on the South facing wall right on the glass) and well ventilated, it would probably dry out too much if I did that. I had watered the plant daily! In previous years I only got sporadic spikes, finally this year it REALLY bloomed. I am very happy!!
