I don't believe your Nandinas are the "wild" kind, so no flowers or berries to worry about (I can't tell which cultivar they are though. *Blush* ).

They were pretty for 2 weeks a year. Otherwise, they lowered about the front door and were woody and terrible. I couldn't prune them b/c then it was just WOOD. They had to go!

The nandinas on the side do make berries.
