Is there a story behind the stone with the horseshoes?
My nieces and I made a bunch of stepping stones years ago (when the kids were little) for a veggie garden I had. We collected "farm junk" that has always turned up in the pasture and come down the creek. My horses are barefoot and I am a barefoot trimmer, but before me, the people clearly had shod horses and mules b/c there are a lot of buried shoes that have been turning up for 17 years! We also found old iron machine parts, broken china, etc. This is the only remaining stepping stone--I have no idea what happened to the others. Thinking of making more, as it's handy to have safe places to step when gardening and weeding!
