It took 3 years for it to bloom the first time here, but this is it's second year of bloom. The season is too short for re-bloom here though. One thing I have learned is that some of the reluctant bloomers like the soil a bit more alkaline then others, so a bit of garden lime around them seems to give them a boost.
Politicians are like diapers, they need to be changed often, and for the same reason.
