Thanks tarev! Most of my plants stay outside year round except for the orchids and a couple of hoyas which I bring in when temp's are predicted to drop below @ 50ºF. We have frost and occasional freezes here in my part of Florida and the winters of 2009 and 2010 were extremely cold with quite a few nights of temp's in the mid and upper 20's!! I lost a lot of plants those two winters ... some that I'd had for 30+ years. Sad I lost a huge Hoya Iris Marie and another quite large Hoya imperialis that I had never gotten the chance to see bloom. When I moved about 6 months ago I decided to downsize with plants so I gave many of them away to neighbors and friends.
~ I'm an old gal who still loves playing in the dirt!
~ Playing in the dirt is my therapy ... and I'm in therapy a lot!
