That is SO COOL.

A quick google confirmed that yes, not only are they not a vector of Lyme disease, because their blood kills the lyme bacteria, but also that a tick carrying lyme disease, once it feeds on the fence lizard, will no longer carry lyme disease because the bacterium is killed by whatever it is in their blood!
