@stillwood did you know Dr. Mark powers? He went from Regional to Duke regularly ..teaching as well as covering the icu. He was prof of pulmonary medicine and critical care specialist. He just published his first fiction. A Swarm in May .. lots of references to things in durham and chapel hill

No, Rosie. I do not think I knew him. I dealt mostly with microbiology and infectious diseases. My boss was Director of the Microbiology Laboratory system. I have been in touch with him from the beginning asking about his views on the covid epidemic and have followed his advice. He has steadily advocated distancing and masking and widespread testing . Dr. Barth Reller knows his stuff!
