Several days ago - that would be Monday, I visited Jenn L. here in Minnesota. A member of the north Star Lily Society, she grows 70+ cultivars of martagon lilies, and does it far better than me. It was a strong sunny day and she has wonderful dappled shade with a very high canopy of trees for the lilies, so good close photos were difficult. But you can gasp nodding at these:
