Hi again,
The wild hive is two doors down from me in a large hollow cottonwood tree. It's been there for years and has survived -20 F winters so I think it's going to be there until the tree falls down.

There was another cotton wood on the same property that did fall and it had bees in it. Somebody came and took the bees. There are a lot of folks around here that will take wild bees and put them in hives.
