I'm still trying to cut back on my daylilies. Been digging out large clumps. The first 7 the ground was very dry. Now we've been getting quite a bit of rain. Not an over amount but day after day and I'm still trying to dig out more daylily clumps. I've been going out after a rain and use the leaf blower to blow all the rain drops off the leaves so it's not so messy. Dug out 7 more today when the rain would stop a little.

I'm cutting back on things for two reasons:
1. Getting too much for my husband and me to keep up with. I just turned 71 two days ago and my energizer battery is running low. I can still do a lot but not like I used to so we're cutting back so hopefully it will be more enjoyable. Crossing Fingers!
2. I just cannot stand seeing the deer damage anymore. All the work to keep plants looking good and the deer come on one or two nights and just chow down on hostas, lilies, coneflowers, phlox and daylilies.
