Today, I'm beat. I've been setting in transplants of wingstem, cosmos, millet, perennial sunflowers, salvias and a few others in my wildflower meadow. It's heavy going chopping through all the matted down grass and roots...I'd forgotten this little fact when I planned things this way! Hilarious!

I'm hoping to get more late-season yellows and reds out there. I've lots of pinks, lavenders and gold, but nothing really bright and eye-catching until these new plants flower.
