The cutting looks good but my concern is there is some separation of the skin and branch at the top, which could possibly result to rot if it will get wet.

The bottom part for me is the easiest to grow if it has roots already. Do not overwater, plumerias do not like wet feet. If dirt is too wet or is not draining fast it would cause a root rot.
