I decided on a salmon burger for lunch and while the grill was heating up I took some pics of the bloomers in the OC. Some of these orchids you have seen before but are worth another look and some are new bloomers or at least have new spikes. All the pictures are from today.
I'll start with Enc. atropene, var. alba 'Jim' X Bepi. Bradly's Judy 'Spots'.
Rhyncholaelia digbyana. It's hard not to call her a Brassavola.
Encyclia cordigera, var. rosea.
Bollopetalum Midnight Blue 'Cardinal's Roost' put out a new spike.
Psychopsis Mendenhall alba 'Yellow Butterfly'
Cattleya maxima continues.
B. nodosa X C. netrasiri.
Blc Hawallan Leopard 'Mai Ling'.
C. lueddemanniana, var. alba X self.
Miltassia Aztec Toni.
Lc Prism Palette X (Gaiety Flambeau X MECarter) X walkeriana. Type that out a few times just for fun.
Lc George Baldwin X C Trithena again. I love the color and form of this orchid.
Blc. Golden Tang. The first pic is a new spike and the second is of older flowers.
Epc. Rene Marques 'Tyler'.
This is a Tolumnia or perhaps a little oncidium from Apopka. NOID on this one.
There are always a few Phals in bloom.
Encyclia 'Green Hornet' which is always in bloom.
The big Grammatophylum scriptum.
This is L.tenebrosa X Blc Chinese Bronce 'Marco Polo'.
Vanda Manuvadee X V. Coerulea.
And finally, one NOID Dendrobium that takes a mean picture.
There you have it, the OC bloomers as of the moment.
