So...back on June 30, I posted this:
MrKGDickie said:Exactly one new cultivar bloomed today. I'd love to say it's Ida's Magic -- that's what I bought -- but it's clearly not.Thumb of 2021-06-30/MrKGDickie/5bc6efIt's pretty enough, but it looks more like Yasmin. That's another strike against the Lily Auction seller I had problems with last year...the one I'll never buy from again.

I feel I must acknowledge that I was wrong. I was not sent the incorrect cultivar. It appears I lost 1 fan each of Chamonix and Ida's Magic, rather than both fans of Chamonix. This cultivar bloomed again today, and it's definitely Chamonix. I also know this because I potted those two cultivars together.

Now...the second fan in the pot may turn out to be Chamonix also. The foliage does look exactly the same. I won't know til next year, though, because it's not going to bloom this year. So...nutshell...I have a cultivar I thought I'd lost. I guess that's a good thing, since I really like watermarks. Rolling my eyes.
Hardy hibiscus are a hobby, but daylilies are an obsession.
