Yes, I might say it was my nose, especially because, I can't smell David Austin's myrrh scent at all, but I can always smell fruity rose scents, except faint apple rose (I can smell strong apple rose.)

The Anlwick rose is a weird one...it takes moist heat for it to be fragrant, is what I read...sure enough 80+ with humidity and I can smell it. On HMF there is a note about scent varies on the Anlwick rose, but there is no note like that on Tropicana....it says strong and all the comments about scent are pleasant and strong.
