The problem with that is the soft part is in the middle,the roots aren't soft and above the cauldex is ok.Only the cauldex is soft & shriveling.So if i cut the soft off,the plant would be cut into 3 pieces the stalk,the roots and the soft cauldex.I don't know if there is any help for this plant except for it to just fix itself.I am preparing to have to trash it and the good part of it is i can start off with a new pretty and healthy plant!!
