Lisa and Joseph, it must be fun to get up every morning and make the rounds. You both have so much going on.
I love the Blue Butterflies, Joseph. How big does that plant get? I have Caryopteris divaricata starting to bloom with a similar bloom shape. I had it for many years in one spot and all it ever grew into was a single stem. I moved it and now they grow as big as hibiscus plants. It is one that is very hard to get rid of once it gets a hold, extremely hard to dig up and even hard to roundup. You have to cut the seeds off, but the bumble bees love it, so I haven't tried too hard to get rid of it.

I never knew that the Caryopteris was winter hardy here. Maybe mine is a different species. I got it from the University of Delaware botanical garden just after covid caused the massive shutdown. I grow it in a relatively small container but that doesn't stop it from making numerous branches. I prune it back and will try my hand at propagating the cuttings. I overwinter it indoors.

I like your indigo Ipomoea nil flowers. Such intense saturated color.
