I LOVE the name! Smiling I don't know what it is about my seeds but blooming in their first year seems to be the 'norm'. I expected it to take 2 -3 years in New England. I will be super excited to see what cross this is and what the blooms look like. But WOW.....6 scapes in such a young seedling! Thumbs up

Ahhh. Um...So, the 6-scape one is an experiment. I treated it with a hormone (descibed in a different thread, I wont repeat here). The other 4 seedlings of the same cross (untreated) have zero scapes between them. Similarly, the PRXRIU201 seedling I showed was also treated with hormone (the other 2 untreated have zero scapes). The great number of scapes is probably not natural but due to the experiment (and what I was testing for - faster flowering).
Gardening: So exciting I wet my plants!
