Lisa, thanks for the recommendations. I looked up the Hotel du Pont and it looks fabulous. I will have to figure out my dates at that price! I am also definitely considering Winterthur. The Nemours Estate reminds me in many ways of the Biltmore Estate in nearby Asheville, which I enjoy, so I'm sure I'd love to see that too.
