Betsy, this one is known to get powdery mildew and the important thing
is air circulation. Don't crowd her will other plants. Some will try a watered
down milk solution. We here use the rose fertilizer-3 in one and don't water
over head, just at the base of the plant. So far we have done great with
ours. We also cut ours back around the fourth of July so we have a fall
flush. This is the new growth and we have fun trying to keep her upward.
