I have some of it growing in soft mounds on our split rail yard fence. It is only minimally invasive here. In another few weeks the colder nights will turn the deep green leaves to bright red and a few days later the leaves will all fall to the ground. I pull up some runners every year, snip a few vines and don't worry about it taking over. Mine came from a little piece of vine about 25 years ago.
Of all the things I've lost, I miss my mind the most.
