It's "carrying Orchids outside" time around here, never walk empty-handed downstairs, until the job is done. Right now I am still concentrating on those which don't mind waking up to 50 degr F a couple more times.
In the meanwhile - my Cattleya aclandiae is blooming and it smells so nice!! I love it!

and the tiny miniature Angraecum cucullatum showed a relatively large flower this week! Nice long spur!
Correction: this is Ang. Joyce Stewart (cucullatum x scottianum), not a species.

Dendrobium batanense usually blooms in Summer after a rainstorm. Hmmm, perhaps I watered too much.... Whistling
Had to look for a background somewhere in the house to show at least part of the plant. The flowers are tiny and sparkly!

Two years ago I had started a thread on Neofinetia falcata (and Dendrobium moniliforme).
The thread "Neofinetia falcata and Dendrobium moniliforme" in Orchids forum
I don't see the point of repeating, but since most of my Neofinetia falcatas are either in bud or blooming I thought it might be a good idea to at least point to that thread for those which are interested in growing these pretty gems.
Starting with those in bloom now/2012
Neofinetia falcata Haku-un
