deformed flower buds, blooms & misshaped flowers is a boron deficiency ....add boron and flowering will improve..

some fertilizers (liquid types) have trace amounts of adequate boron

Use insecticidal soap to control spider mites ....
insecticidal soap is an excellent "go to all-around pest solution for adeniums" ...controls aphids and scale too

mix your own insecticidal soap: 1 tablespoon of pure unscented Castile soap to 1 quart water ... mix in a sprayer ....shake well - saturate plant ....repeat in a few days

Important -
once insecticidal soap is dry - rinse off ......insecticidal soap no longer offers any benefits and may damage foliage if left on leaves -

do not use mid day or (full sun) ......do not use especially on hot days ...

yellowing leaves can be a sign of under watering - or - over watering .... can also be a normal shedding of old leaves

rubbing alcohol will kill most insects ....it will also leach chlorophyll out of leaves - and will eventually kill any leaves it touches ....
