"What do I put in those two huge pots out front?"
I was having so much fun in the shade garden this spring my attention had drifted away from the front beds. So these two large pots stayed empty until late May... when I tossed 5-7 Datura innoxia seeds into each one. Consistent watering plus some Miracle-Gro produced multi-trunked rounded foliage mounds in no time at all...
and then they started producing flower buds...
It's been a non-stop show of big, white blooms ever since.

I counted forty nine blooms the night I took this first photo.....................

About the only maintenance has been daily deadheading and seed pod removal to keep the plants from looking ratty and to keep them blooming.
I like best the fact that the blooms are large and white... they show up beautifully at night... and they are absolute stand-outs when the moon is full.
