I'm wondering where everyone is. If you're like me, you're enjoying the cool mornings before the heat hits around 2 PM. I have been MIA because I was asked to open my garden for a tour. I agreed in a weak moment because I'd have two months to get ready. Sounds like a lot of time, but it rained here quite a bit, the side yard flooded from the Great Wall of Neighbors' next door, mud covered the grass, and I started making "lists" which makes DH crazy. So far, I've completed all of the #1 priorities, moved to the #2s, and have forgotten about getting anything done in the #3s! The other two homes on the tour are a post antebellum mansion and a subdivision home with fruit trees and vegetables, 15000 gallons of rain collection tanks and solar panels. Did I mention, both of the other gardens have been featured on Central TX Gardener? No pressure, of course.... Whistling

I'm seeing lots of butterflies in the garden and a hummer that has a ring around his neck. The one that usually is here, hasn't returned yet. At least I'm enjoying the flora and fauna. Thumbs up
