Somewhat tongue-in-cheek, but this is the prettiest face in my yard. Sticking tongue out
He is a Russian-blue (I think). He is not mine. Possibly a stray. But doubtful as he is super-friendly and seems very well turned out.
We have been buddies for a couple months now. I give him cat-snacks and milk, and we both take turns to chase squirrels.
He appears in the morning for a snack, and again before sunset. I make sure not to overfeed him as I have no wish to lure him away from any real owner who may be out there. But a tad worried as winter draws near he may actually be homeless (we have a family member allergic to cats so he cannot enter the house - as he keeps trying to).
Anyhow, usually whenever I am out dabbing pollen he rushes me and tries to trip me up from all his friendly rubbing at my ankles. He purrs like a chainsaw. So now at home I have a massive bag of dry cat-food, cat toys and a cat brush (he keeps rolling around everywhere to scent his new territory - better than peeing which he never does - so gets in a mess with leaves and twigs). It is said from one of the many cat articles I have now read that Russian blues train the owners rather than the other way round. As his friend I can totally understand. Hilarious!

You might say we are gardening buddies. Although he has attacked a few blooms as I was trying to dab, thinking it a fun game. Kids, eh? Sighing!
Gardening: So exciting I wet my plants!
