springcolor... Plant them -- though I too would take pics, contact the 'seller' and let them know what happened.... BUT the plants will get their second "flush of leaves" and will probably look nice for you this year.... if not, next year.
BUT from what i've read... i'd leave the damaged leaves a lone as long as they are green... if they turn brown, then i'd trim them.

and since you are new to hostas... read on care for your tools and the HVX virus.

I'm sure this forum has a thread on the virus... as you begin to collect hostas, you need to be aware of it.
