Sherri, what you have is Monstera Deliciosa and it's the one that eventually makes a tasty fruit.
Mine is Monstera obliqua, (or adansonii or something else) changed from a Philo and known commonly as the Swiss Cheese plant. What you see is a flower with a spathe and a large white spadix. I had quite a few blooms last spring, but it doesn't seem to make any seeds or fruit.
