Mine is Monstera obliqua, (or adansonii or something else) changed from a Philo and known commonly as the Swiss Cheese plant. What you see is a flower with a spathe and a large white spadix. I had quite a few blooms last spring, but it doesn't seem to make any seeds or fruit.

Thanks Elaine, good to know. I checked on my Monstera adansonii, and it gets flowers too, similar to yours.
