My first are the Ficus variety, Fiddle Fig, Rubber plant and Ficus Benjamina. They make good indoor trees.
I also like the Corn Plant and Dracena plants.
What I like about indoor tree type plants is that they can look very good mixed with other smaller plants like the Peace Lilly plants or ZZ plant. If you have good lighting or the energy to run lighting you could make a nice indoor garden using a mixture of house plants to bring the outdoors indoors and have a summer feeling in the winter months. I also like palms of many kinds. Another I like is the dumb cane plant I'd really like to create an indoor rock garden using dumb cane plants and then mixing in some smaller plants. I'm mainly into low light tolerant house plants.
