All you wonderful chefs out there.....................if you make fried rice, will you tell me what/how you do/use?

My Great-Gramma Pfister's Butterscotch Cookies (recipe is from early 1900..my aunt was born in 1914, and this pre-dates her)

1 cup sugar
1 cup brown sugar
1 cup butter (I use half lard.......makes amazing cookies)
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix the above well. Then add

2 eggs Mix well, then add in..........

3 1/2 cups flour
1 tsp. soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar

Place half the dough on a sheet of wax paper, form into roll. Repeat with rest of dough. Refrigerate overnight. Slice and bake at 375. My recipe says 8-10 minutes but that's not enough. These are a wonderful crisp cookie. I always double the batch.
