While watering I see which ones need insect control, maybe a pruning is in order and which ones need to be re-potted.
Un-potting and cleaning gets one closer to the plant. How well it is growing or maybe it needs a different dirt mix.
I prefer to pot them up into bigger planters.
A specimen plant is easier to take care of and becomes a show stopper.
