Woofie, I'm glad you didn't have too much damage.

Linda, it sounds like you're doing great!

I'M FINISHED! Except for a few wintersown jugs, all the plants are off of my deck. I stuck in 2 more trays of coleus today. These were sort of the leftovers, not exactly cream of the crop. From being in cell packs so long, stuck so close together, they were stretching, tall and lanky. But I stuck them in anyway, wherever I could cram them. And I finished mulching! I didn't feel like I'd ever get it finished but I finished today. I used pine straw for the first time this year and it takes a long time to spread.

There's still a mess all over the deck- a gazillion flats, daisy trays, pots, and cell packs. I want to wash them in my outdoor sink before I put them away in the basement. And I have a bin with a few wintersown jugs which I might or might not ever plant. I'll be so glad to get that deck cleaned up. I don't know when, but soon.

We're due for a scorcher weekend too- temps in the 90s Friday through Monday. And it's so dry. It has only been a little over a week since we had rain, but temps have been in the 80s and there was no mulch yet.

Karen
