Hello
Three years ago I broke away this dead stump. It was the shape - of a shoe. I let it dry for two years.
Last year I then varnish the stump - and put it into the garden for decoration.
I recently noticed the a plant growth is emerging from the dead stump.
To keep it growing should place the stump into a planter so as the bottom of the stump (boot) is resting on the soil?
Let me know if I have a strategy. Thanks!
