I have 2 and they've been with me for years. I can't remember where the first one came from. they go to plant camp in the summer-on the porch- and they love it. Scheffs are tough reliable plants. If they get out of shape I prune. whenever. they live in the house during the winter, aren't fussy about water, altho I have a tendency to let them dry before I water. and they get enough light from north facing windows. I try to keep them shaped and at a reasonable, manageable size. don't be afraid to trim and prune. they can handle it any time.
