Cucurbit Your Enthusiasm
Colors and shapes on the surface of ornamental gourds, aka cucurbits. Part of seasonal décor in the Lath House area of the conservatory at Hidden Lake Gardens.
This is a case of beauty being in the eye of the beholder. Personally I find the explosions of weirdness in these gourds fascinating. Lots of possibilities for abstracts for photographers. Maybe a case of a part being better than the whole? Anyway, here's the source image.
