For the Dianthus-philes among us,
Dianthus carthusianorum (original seeds from Lisa) might be of interest. It's one of those plants that pictures don't do justice. It isn't big and flashy (or fragrant
). Just one of those plants you stumble upon and say, "Oh!" Like discovering a secret. Our yard was on the garden walk last year, and I was surprised several times over at how visitors keyed in on those particular plants.
Beyond the
Dalea purpurea and the pile of rocks; to the right of the Russian Sage.
