Actually they are not in a best situation for major cuttings, there are risk that they will not make it...

@Wildbloomers , this is the adeniums that suffer because of using raw cocopeat with tannins, the first picture dated June, it means the first step (amputation) performed in June last year, and I am pretty sure I have performed initial root selection in Dec last year

After cleaning the roots from soil, have difficulties to select the roots to keep, normally we need 5 to 6 roots, max 8. This is difficult because a lot of roots are not growing.

After selection, still keep more that it should be, will do another root selection in 6 months. The 3 big ones on the left and right are confirmed, but the 3 on tops and 3 at the bottoms are difficult to decide, if the ones in the middle are big enough, then it will be easy, I just keep the middle on the top and bottom, then 5 roots for the plant, but since I am not sure, I keep some backup and select them again in 6 months.

Finished, as though nothing has happened, hope they can survive Smiling

If you guys still remember the above adeniums root training that I trimmed at 7th August..

Will try to repot this in a wider pot, the size of the hexagonal pot is a little bid too big, but thats all I have

We are too late to perform this, as the roots are bending and growing inwards..

Clean and cut all the small roots and repot into the new pot, this will take a while to raise and show the roots

If they look healthy, do nothing
