I was gonna say that I don't remember what dinner was yesterday when it came to me. We did chicken fajitas, primarily because they are easy and I have some avocados that need to be used. Primary focus of the day was baking. I did the Swedish cardamom bread. (BTW, I guess the larger pods are a bit more potent and better suited to savoury dishes. I've learned a lot about cardamom in the last couple days.) I used a recipe from the Internet that was similar to my sister's but a bit smaller and I slightly modified it to be more similar. Actually, I divided it in half an made one braided loaf and used the rest of the same dough for a cinnamon ring. Coffee glaze on both. Both have been cut in half and are in the outdoor freezer, aka the porch. It may become a fridge tomorrow which will be handy. Also made dinner rolls some for tomorrow and some for the freezer. And this morning I did our favourite side dish of Nutty Creamed Onions and Carrots. Note that I have never used the cream cheese in it and don't miss it. It will reheat easily in the microwave or toaster oven.
