Wow..I flew through the posts... the photos were great. Everyone was busy. Wizard of Oz just came on... but I am beat .. I have the DVD somewhere ( here not over the rainbow!)

I was worried on the Eve. Everyone kept going back for pea soup ..even the kids .. I had a lot of food prepared .. pea soup and biscuits .. the shells with a garlic pea sauce was a hit as was the eggplant. The gravy came out great and I heated those stuffing balls in it.. the hm was a Smithfield .. the hubby didn't like on of the spices in the glaze. It was very moist.. desserts were a cream cheese pound, the cheesecake, the struffoli and a strawberry fluff. Sophia brought over a ton of many different style cookies. The stained glass were beautiful. The cheesecake always makes me anxious..and it came out fine ..but good thing I wrapped the pan in foil. ..the pan leaks the butter .. so what am I doing wrong ? It feels tight.. it looks tight ..why does it leak?? It's one of those with a round flat plate at the bottom and the top is a 6 inch high open ring with a buckle on the outside that tightens it all up. The Oreo cuts was great .. that crust alone should have stopped it from leaking.
The best part of the night was the coffee and cheese cake I had AFTER they all left!

Happy Birthday Debbie and TT ..hope I didn't miss anybody.
The fish sticks are Gordon's. ..but it's wild caught and panko crust There are several different versions.. this on is not mushy and needs to be flipped. It is not reconstituted
Don't squat with yer spurs on!

People try to turn back their "odometers." Not me. I want people to know 'why' I look this way. I've traveled a long way and some of the roads weren't paved
