Thanks for your replies.

I probably won't have time to check out all of the forums and information on either site for several years. I enjoy a little bit at DG because it is slow. If I am gone all week, I haven't missed a lot, and I do have friends there. I have friends in the semp forum on here, and a few in the Texas forum, but I don't even try to follow the Texas one.

I run a small business and it runs me. So there it is. Gardening is my passion but even what I try to grow here is very short time. I used to start tomato seeds. On March first or thereabouts I hit the feed store and buy half a dozen of whatever varieties they have usually trying to find a couple of cherokee purple, an early girl and some San Marzano. (longer producing than Juliette thru the heat -wowed me).

But everything is on the run as I try to earn enough to retire in 3 years....
